Hélène Balle / Designer
Hélène Balle creates leather goods that perpetuate know-how through her exploration of crafts, techniques, and materials. After studying Fashion and Accessory Design at ENSAV La Cambre and gaining experience at Delvaux, she completed her studies with a training in leather goods. Since 2013 she has been working in leather craft, first developing her skills of gestures and techniques as a craftswoman at Maison Hermès and then expanding her knowledge on the entire life cycle of a product through her collaborations as a consultant and project manager with different fashion houses. In parallel, she has been developing projects for clients and collaborated with designers.
Hélène is also involved in the transmission of her knowledge. She has coordinated and taught within the leather crafts program of the Institut Jeanne Toussaint in Brussels and gives workshops in different Fashion and Accessories Design programs.
With a background that is both technical and creative, she now brings together and valorizes this knowledge by putting it to use in the creation of accessories.
